Lead Flight Control Engineer - Tactical Munitions

You will design, implement, and maintain flight control and guidance algorithms for a new electrical tactical munition project. You will work with system, hardware, and vision teams to develop the platform from early R&D through field testing.

  • Design, simulate, and implement flight control algorithms for a high-dynamic, tube-launched platform.
  • Develop and maintain 6-DOF mathematical models of flight dynamics and aerodynamic responses.
  • Integrate flight control loops with the electro-optical computer vision system for terminal homing.
  • Deploy, configure, and tune control laws using SITL and HITL simulations.
  • Analyze flight logs and telemetry from field tests to optimize flight envelopes and resolve dynamic anomalies.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement control algorithms on physical microcontrollers.

דרישות

  • 5+ years of experience in flight control, guidance, or navigation algorithms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field.
  • Deep knowledge of flight dynamics, kinematics, and modern control theory.
  • Experience leading development of control laws for UAVs, loitering munitions, or FPV platforms through rapid prototyping.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and MATLAB/Simulink.

  • Familiarity with FPV drone development and operations.
