Research fraud and abuse patterns and develop detection capabilities for Transmit Security’s identity and fraud-prevention SaaS product. Analyze telemetry, build research tools and data features, and work with product, data, and engineering teams to put findings into production.

  • Research emerging fraud and abuse techniques, including account takeover, bots, phishing, and device spoofing.
  • Identify and validate new data collection opportunities, security signals, and behavioral patterns.
  • Analyze telemetry and attack patterns to find detection opportunities.
  • Reproduce attacker techniques, identify detection gaps, and translate findings into detection logic.
  • Build research infrastructure, analysis workflows, and internal tools using Python.
  • Collaborate with data science, engineering, and product teams to validate, implement, and monitor detection capabilities.

דרישות

  • At least 3 years of experience in security research, fraud research, detection engineering, threat research, mobile security research, browser security research, or a similar hands-on technical role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Hands-on experience with desktop or mobile browsers, or native Android or iOS applications and mobile security.
  • Strong Python skills and experience building research tools, automation, data analysis workflows, detection prototypes, or feature engineering pipelines.
  • Experience analyzing real-world data and familiarity with machine-learning training and validation concepts.

  • Experience researching both browser-based and mobile-native systems.
  • Experience in fraud domains such as account takeover, identity theft, or payment fraud.
  • Experience with browser or mobile fingerprinting, device intelligence, or behavioral biometrics.
  • Experience with pandas, SQL, notebooks, data visualization, or machine-learning training pipelines.
