R&D Mechanical Engineer

You will design mechanical parts and assemblies for IoT devices, from initial concepts through transfer to production. You will also run calculations and validation tests, working with engineering teams, manufacturers, and subcontractors.

  • Design mechanical parts and mechanisms from initial concepts through transfer to production.
  • Create and manage 3D CAD models and drawings for components, assemblies, jigs, and fixtures, including GD&T.
  • Design parts for injection molding, machining, and other manufacturing methods.
  • Run prototype validation, including mechanical inspection, stress testing, sealing, and field testing.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and vendors in Israel and internationally.
  • Transfer parts to production in collaboration with the engineering team.

דרישות

  • BSc in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Mechanical Engineer in R&D.
  • Experience with machine design, including parts, assemblies, and mechanisms.
  • Knowledge of machining, injection molding, coatings, materials, and geometric tolerances.
  • High proficiency in 3D CAD, such as Onshape or SolidWorks.

יתרון

  • Experience working in an industrial environment.
  • Background in applied physics and LTI systems.
  • Experience with IoT systems and PCBA-integrated products.
  • Familiarity with NPI processes, DFM, DFX, and transfer to production.
