Backend Engineer with AI Experience

Build Similarweb’s company-wide AI platform, including the agent runtime, integrations, model gateway, and evaluation and observability infrastructure. The platform will help teams across the company build and operate agents and AI-powered workflows reliably.

  • Design and build the agent platform, including runtime, orchestration, state and memory management, and a shared agent SDK.
  • Build and operate tools, connectors, and MCP servers for company data, internal systems, and third-party services.
  • Develop LLM-based agents for internal workflows and turn reusable components into platform capabilities.
  • Implement integrations that let agents take automated actions on behalf of users.
  • Establish secure-by-default patterns for permissions, data access, PII, prompt injection defenses, and audit logging.
  • Evaluate and improve the performance of AI models and agents.

דרישות

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in Python.
  • Hands-on experience with LangGraph, LangChain, or similar frameworks for building AI agents.
  • Strong understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI agent architectures.
  • Experience with production engineering, including REST APIs, asynchronous services, external data integrations, containers, and CI/CD.

  • Familiarity with LLM providers, vector stores, MCPs, and the AI agents ecosystem.
  • Experience evaluating LLM performance and quality, and with LLM observability tooling.
  • LLMOps experience, including cost and latency optimization, semantic caching, model routing, and capacity planning.
  • Experience designing RAG systems; familiarity with AI security, AWS, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code.
