Lead security incident response and investigations across GitLab.com and GitLab’s cloud and corporate environments. Improve detection and response through engineering, automation, and collaboration with teams across the company.

- Lead end-to-end response to high-severity security incidents.
- Investigate cloud security incidents using DFIR methods.
- Design detection capabilities, including SIEM use cases and telemetry pipelines.
- Build automation and AI-assisted workflows for triage and investigations.
- Lead root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
- Maintain response documentation and coordinate with teams across the company.
דרישות
- Experience in security incident response and investigations in cloud-first environments.
- Experience using or administering Git/GitLab in a security or engineering context.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, and/or detection engineering.
- Experience with AWS and GCP.
- Experience building or using automation, such as Python, scripting, or SOAR platforms.
תנאי סף
- Able to work remotely from Israel, Poland, or the United Kingdom
- Able to work one of the listed four-day shifts: Sunday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Saturday
