Lead the engineering team responsible for Taboola’s data platform, which supports reporting, billing, experimentation, ML training, and revenue optimization. Set the platform’s technical direction and guide the team in building reliable, scalable data infrastructure.

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers.
  • Define the team’s technical strategy, roadmap, and architecture.
  • Own the reliability, scalability, and performance of data pipelines.
  • Partner with engineering, product, finance, and ML teams to align priorities and deliver platform capabilities.
  • Guide the evolution of the Spark SQL platform and shared data infrastructure.
  • Review architecture, code, and technical designs, and represent the team in technical forums.

דרישות

  • 5+ years leading and managing software development teams.
  • 8+ years of software engineering experience with Java or a similar object-oriented language.
  • Experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems in production, including Kafka, Spark, Linux, and Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented design, concurrent programming, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
  • B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

יתרון

  • Production experience with dbt, Airflow, StarRocks, or Druid.
  • Experience using AI agents to improve engineering productivity and familiarity with ML data pipelines.
