Design ruggedized units, mechanisms, and hardware that integrates onto heavy platforms, from concept CAD through production drawings. Build and debug prototypes, and support qualification and production for defense programs.

- Lead designs from prototype to serial production, including qualification, manufacturing packages, subcontractor ramp, and engineering changes.
- Design sealed, ruggedized units and platform-integration hardware from concept CAD to released drawings.
- Design moving, locking, and release mechanisms, plus rigs and fixtures for data collection and testing.
- Iterate designs based on thermal and dynamic analyses.
- Build and debug prototypes hands-on.
- Co-design PCB outlines, keepouts, and placement with hardware engineers.
דרישות
- 7+ years of hands-on mechanical design experience.
- BSc in Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong SolidWorks proficiency and experience releasing manufacturing drawings, including GD&T.
- Experience designing sealed or ruggedized assemblies for harsh environments and designing mechanisms.
- Experience with manufacturing subcontractors, designing to cost, thermal and structural design of electronics packaging, and taking defense products from prototype to serial production.

- Experience integrating equipment onto heavy or armored vehicle platforms.
- Familiarity with MIL-STD environmental and EMC design practice.
- A personal portfolio of hardware designed and built by you.
- Experience designing enclosures for EO (electro-optical) systems.
