Kela is seeking a senior lawyer to build and lead its regulatory compliance function. The role covers export controls, market entry, due diligence, risk assessments, and employee training, helping the company operate in global markets.

  • Build and maintain compliance procedures and programs across the business.
  • Assess regulatory requirements for entering new markets and territories.
  • Manage export control compliance, including licensing and approvals with DECA and compliance with ITAR, EAR, and other international regimes.
  • Manage due diligence for vendors, business partners, and counterparties.
  • Conduct risk assessments across the business.
  • Design and deliver employee training on regulatory topics.

דרישות

  • LL.B. from a leading academic institution and licensed to practice law in Israel.
  • At least 7 years of relevant legal and regulatory experience.
  • Significant experience working with DECA and the Ministry of Defense.
  • Experience with production oversight or control processes in the U.S., and exposure to regulators beyond Israel and the U.S.
  • High English proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking.
