MDR Security Analyst (Threat Hunting)

You will identify and respond to security threats across customer environments, conduct threat hunting, and investigate security incidents. You will also advise customers on findings and remediation, and help improve Cato’s threat-hunting capabilities.

  • Conduct threat hunting and security assessments on customer networks, and communicate findings and remediation recommendations.
  • Assist SOC analysts with investigating, analyzing, and responding to security incidents.
  • Develop cyber kill-chain indicators and hunting heuristics.
  • Improve product accuracy and detection of emerging threats.

דרישות

  • Hands-on experience in the cybersecurity industry.
  • Strong knowledge of networking architecture and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, SSL, SMB, HTTP, and IP Routing.
  • Understanding of common cybersecurity threats and attack scenarios.
  • Practical experience with security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint protection, and network forensics tools.
  • Fluent English, strong communication skills, and proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python or Ruby.

יתרון

  • Experience with XDR solutions.
  • Previous experience at an MSSP or MDR provider as a threat hunter or security analyst.
  • A BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a similar field.
