Python Automation Tech Lead

Lead the technical direction of the automation group and develop tests for complex, integrated storage systems. Work with engineering and product teams to shape test strategy, improve quality, and guide engineers.

  • Set coding standards and guide testing architecture and technical direction.
  • Write, review, and contribute to test code alongside the team.
  • Design test plans and strategies for new features and cross-service functionality.
  • Work with R&D and Product early in feature development to address testability and quality requirements.
  • Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and lead root cause investigations.
  • Own release sign-off decisions and drive initiatives to close test coverage gaps.

דרישות

  • At least 10 years of experience developing automated tests for complex, integrated SW/HW products.
  • Strong Python development skills and experience writing production-quality automation code.
  • Experience leading or technically mentoring an automation or QA team.
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems and system-level test strategy.
  • Engineering degree or equivalent experience.

יתרון

  • Background in enterprise storage, including SAN, NAS, or object storage.
  • Hands-on experience with SMB, NFS, or S3 protocols.
  • Knowledge of Linux internals and networking.
  • Familiarity with storage concepts such as replication, snapshots, caching, RAID, and data protection.
