Design and build distributed event-streaming systems and backend infrastructure, including a high-performance Kafka-protocol-compatible broker. The systems support large-scale data workloads across clusters for AI, analytics, and enterprise use.

  • Implement and maintain a high-scale, high-performance Kafka-protocol-compatible broker.
  • Build distributed services that handle petabytes of data across large clusters.
  • Design solutions for ordering, transactions, replication, fault tolerance, and scalability.
  • Investigate and resolve production issues across the produce-to-consume path.
  • Collaborate with architecture, research, and engineering teams on data infrastructure.

דרישות

  • Strong hands-on experience in C/C++ software development, including system design, debugging, and performance optimization.
  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Deep understanding of Linux internals and performance troubleshooting.
  • Experience developing distributed systems focused on scalability, reliability, fault tolerance, concurrency, and high availability.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP and distributed communication patterns.

יתרון

  • Experience with message brokers or event-streaming systems.
  • Apache Kafka internals or Kafka wire protocol experience.
