Senior Backend Engineer – Core Engineering

You’ll build and maintain core backend infrastructure, shared frameworks, services, and libraries used across Cyera. You’ll work with product and DevOps teams to support production systems, scale, and safe releases.

  • Design, build, and evolve core backend infrastructure used across the company.
  • Own shared frameworks, services, and libraries used across teams.
  • Build and evolve the NestJS service framework and shared modules.
  • Design and maintain application-level Kafka infrastructure and usage patterns.
  • Debug production issues and improve database performance, scaling, monitoring, and alerting.
  • Improve release processes and support safe migrations.

דרישות

  • 6+ years of experience in backend or core systems engineering.
  • Experience building and operating large, evolving production systems.
  • Experience contributing to or owning shared frameworks, platforms, or internal tooling.
  • Understanding of CI/CD, production operations, and observability.
  • Strong collaboration skills and comfort working across teams.

  • Experience in high-growth startups or scale-up phases.
  • Background in CORE, infrastructure, or internal engineering teams.
  • Kafka-heavy or event-driven architectures.
  • High-scale PostgreSQL environments.
