Lead the Platform Engineering team while spending about half your time on hands-on development. Build tools and systems that help engineering teams contribute effectively, and drive technical initiatives across teams.

  • Spend about 50% of your time on hands-on development.
  • Work with managers, service owners and team representatives to understand needs and prioritize work.
  • Lead and mentor engineers, align the team’s vision with management, and support engineers across the company.
  • Build decentralized developer tools and systems, including Backstage, CLI tools, microservice templates and Helm chart values.
  • Drive multi-team technical initiatives, set technical standards and define compliance metrics.
  • Lead Kubernetes initiatives and research cloud-native technologies.

דרישות

  • Computer Science degree from a leading university.
  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • 2+ years developing applications on Kubernetes using Helm, Kustomize, Crossplane, CDK or similar tools.
  • Strong backend development skills in TypeScript, Python with Asyncio, Go, Rust, modern C# or Kotlin.
  • Strong understanding of Platform Engineering and proficiency with Claude or Codex, including writing system prompts and delivering features across multiple repositories.

יתרון

  • Production experience running services on Kubernetes.
  • Experience writing design documents, presenting to engineering leaders and answering technical questions in fluent English.
  • Experience building and maintaining internal developer tools such as Backstage, Port, CLI tools, microservice templates, infrastructure libraries or agentic flows.
  • Experience with open-source Kubernetes charts such as Keycloak, Debezium, Airflow, Temporal, feature flag systems or LangSmith.
