Lead high-priority cloud security research, from threat investigation through detection development, product integration, and publication. Set research direction across major cloud providers and help strengthen Mitiga’s detection capabilities and research team.

  • Lead research initiatives from threat hypothesis through detection logic, product integration, and publication.
  • Set technical direction for cloud threat research across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Investigate cloud and SaaS security incidents and develop forensic and detection methods.
  • Publish research, present at security conferences, and contribute to open-source projects.
  • Translate research findings into product requirements and detection algorithms.
  • Mentor researchers and influence technical decisions and research priorities.

דרישות

  • 8+ years in security research, threat research, or a closely related field; fewer years may be considered with exceptional depth and track record.
  • Hands-on experience with at least two of AWS, Azure, and GCP, and working knowledge of the third.
  • Track record of publishing original technical research through blog posts, conference talks, open-source tools, or vulnerability discoveries.
  • Strong adversarial mindset and ability to model threats and attack paths across cloud, SaaS, identity systems, and Kubernetes.
  • Ability to work autonomously on ambiguous, high-stakes problems.

יתרון

  • Experience with cloud forensics and incident response in cloud or SaaS environments.
  • Background in cloud red teaming or penetration testing.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes security, container escape techniques, and cloud-native supply chain risks.
  • Experience building or contributing to threat intelligence frameworks or detection content libraries.
