Build a new SaaS product for Transmit Security’s identity platform as one of the first engineers on a new team. Develop scalable backend services and customer-facing features, and help shape the product’s architecture and engineering standards.

  • Shape the team’s architecture, technology choices and engineering standards.
  • Deliver infrastructure and customer-facing features.
  • Own features from design through backend and UI to production.
  • Build scalable backend services, microservices and platform code in Scala.
  • Contribute to the product’s React and TypeScript front end.
  • Develop the platform and, as its scope expands, contribute to data pipelines and large-scale data processing.

דרישות

  • At least 5 years of experience developing production backend services at scale.
  • Strong architecture and design skills, including experience building scalable architectures.
  • Hands-on expertise in at least one modern statically typed, high-level language, such as Scala, Kotlin, Java, C#, C++ or Go.
  • Comfort with functional programming concepts, including immutability, algebraic data types, type-driven design, composition and pure functions.
  • Experience with relational databases and data modeling, and with cloud environments and containers.

  • Scala experience; Scala is a significant advantage.
