Build backend security workflows that help GitLab customers triage, prioritize, and manage vulnerabilities. Work with a distributed fullstack team on security dashboards, vulnerability reports, and data ingestion systems.

  • Develop and maintain backend features for vulnerability management workflows.
  • Improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of security data ingestion and reporting systems.
  • Collaborate with frontend engineers and contribute across the stack when needed.
  • Work with security teams, Product Management, and Product Design on vulnerability workflows.
  • Conduct code reviews and help address technical debt.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to troubleshoot product and security operations.

דרישות

  • Experience building and maintaining backend applications with Ruby on Rails.
  • Experience delivering and maintaining software systems as part of a larger engineering team.
  • Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
  • Ability to investigate technical problems and work toward practical resolutions.
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills in a distributed team.

  • Frontend development experience, including JavaScript or Vue.js.
  • Experience with Elasticsearch, graph databases, vulnerability management, application security, or related skills.
