Lead mechanical engineering and manufacturing transfer for networking hardware, from late-stage R&D through volume production. The role covers rack integration, packaging and logistics, liquid cooling, supplier quality, and production support.

  • Lead NPI transfers to mass production and verify BOMs, drawings, and fabrication readiness.
  • Create and maintain mechanical assembly instructions, tooling, and production fixtures.
  • Design and validate packaging, palletization, and transit testing.
  • Oversee mechanical integration and validation of liquid cooling systems.
  • Qualify suppliers, conduct factory audits, and review FAI and dimensional reports.
  • Resolve production issues, lead failure analysis, and manage mechanical engineering changes.

דרישות

  • B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 6+ years of mechanical engineering experience in NPI, manufacturing, and sustaining for networking, telecommunications, server, optics, or data center hardware.
  • Experience with box-level/chassis and rack-level integration.
  • Hands-on experience with high-density Ethernet switches, fiber-optic routing, optical transceivers, and high-speed PCB mechanical constraints.
  • Practical liquid cooling knowledge, packaging and transit qualification experience, SolidWorks and PLM proficiency, and excellent English technical communication; willingness to travel overseas periodically.
