Build and operate backend services for Placer.ai’s location-analytics platform, processing and serving data at high scale. Work with Product, Data Science, and Analytics to support machine-learning, analytics, and real-time features.

  • Improve performance, scalability, and reliability using data and metrics
  • Build infrastructure and data pipelines for machine-learning, analytics, and real-time use cases
  • Work with Product, Data Science, and Analytics to develop product features from complex data
  • Contribute through code reviews, design discussions, and technical mentorship

דרישות

  • 5+ years of backend engineering experience in high-scale systems
  • 2+ years working on Node.js backend systems with TypeScript or JavaScript
  • Proficiency in AWS or GCP and Terraform
  • Familiarity with iOS or Android development using Kotlin, Swift, Objective-C, or Java
  • Experience with data-intensive systems and complex data pipelines
  • BSc in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

  • Data engineering experience with Apache Spark
  • Use of AI tools to improve productivity, quality, or output
