Join the Data Export Team to design and build backend microservices for Placer.ai’s distributed export ETL infrastructure. You will develop and scale batch and real-time data pipelines that support analytics, export workflows, and platform integrations.

- Own backend microservices from architecture and API design through deployment, observability, and performance tuning.
- Improve performance, throughput, and reliability across distributed ETL infrastructure.
- Build, orchestrate, and scale batch and real-time data pipelines.
- Partner with Product, Data Science, Analytics, and R&D teams on backend integrations.
- Lead design and code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical mentorship.
דרישות
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience designing, operating, and scaling distributed microservices.
- Experience architecting data-intensive systems and high-throughput batch or real-time pipelines.
- Proficiency with relational databases and analytical warehouses, and experience optimizing complex queries and data storage at scale.
- Strong foundation in system design, data structures, API design, automated testing, and production observability.
- Proficiency with AWS or GCP and Terraform; BSc in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

- Strong Python proficiency for backend services, APIs, asynchronous tasks, and data-processing packages.
- Hands-on PySpark experience with batch and streaming jobs and optimization of large-scale data processing.
