You will design and develop Sawmills.ai’s Telemetry Data Management Platform and build scalable backend systems for processing machine data. You will work with the founders and engineering team to improve observability integrations, system reliability, and the product roadmap.

  • Develop and scale the backend of the Telemetry Data Management Platform, including compatibility with OpenTelemetry.
  • Architect systems to process and analyze large volumes of machine data.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and technical roadmaps.
  • Work with the founders to deliver features that meet customer needs.
  • Improve integrations with observability tools and data ingestion and analysis capabilities.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance and reliability.
  • Lead and mentor developers and contribute to open-source development where applicable.

דרישות

  • BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Over 10 years of backend development experience, including large-scale data systems.
  • Expertise in Go, Rust, Java, or Python and experience building scalable server architectures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • Experience with open-source technologies and standards, particularly OpenTelemetry.
  • Familiarity with cloud services, microservices architectures, and CI/CD pipelines.
