You will define and drive security strategy across the development lifecycle for Axonius’s platform and AI-driven capabilities. You will work with R&D teams in Israel and Portugal to help secure cloud and distributed systems from planning through deployment.

- Identify, prioritize, and drive security requirements and mitigation strategies with R&D teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Conduct architecture, design, and threat modeling security reviews for web, AWS cloud, and distributed systems.
- Produce security architecture documents, design specifications, and technical guidelines for engineering.
- Lead incident response for product cybersecurity events and drive remediation across engineering teams.

- 5+ years of hands-on software development experience, including at least 3 years in application security or product security.
- Experience analyzing, reading, and evaluating codebase architecture in a product-centric tech stack.
- Hands-on experience working in AWS environments and building application threat models.
- Active experience using AI/LLM-based tools to improve development workflows, research, or productivity.
- Professional fluency in written and spoken English.

- Experience securing AI/LLM technologies within commercial B2B products.
- Experience designing security frameworks for cloud/SaaS stacks and legacy medical device or hardware environments.
- Security certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, or CCSP.
- Published security research, CVE submissions, bug bounty participation, security conference presentations, or a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree.
