Design ruggedized electronics boards from architecture and schematic through lab testing, qualification, and serial production. Work with systems, mechanical, and software teams, and oversee subcontracted board-design work.

  • Own board design from architecture and schematic through layout, bring-up, and handoff for fabrication and assembly.
  • Design power stages, input protection, EMI/EMC filtering, and discrete-signal and interlock circuits.
  • Select components for harsh environments and manage the BOM.
  • Build and run board-level lab tests, including bring-up, pre-compliance, and environmental screening.
  • Manage qualification with external labs and oversee subcontracted board designers.
  • Support serial production, including DFM, test coverage, and first-article inspection.

דרישות

  • 7+ years of hands-on board design, including schematic and layout, in leading companies.
  • BSc in Electrical Engineering.
  • Boards designed must have reached production and shipped.
  • Practical power-electronics experience, including DC/DC design or integration and protection circuits.
  • EMI/EMC design practice, pre-compliance testing experience, and fluency with scopes, electronic loads, and transient generators.

  • Defense or military vehicle electronics background.
  • MIL-STD-461 or MIL-STD-1275 qualification experience.
  • Video or high-speed interface design experience.
  • Embedded compute integration or experience overseeing subcontractors or an external design house.
