Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and mechanisms from concept through production for Kela Technologies’ Advanced Munitions Group. Build and test prototypes, work with multidisciplinary teams, and support manufacturing and validation.

  • Design, develop, and optimize mechanical components, assemblies, and mechanisms from concept through production.
  • Assemble, test, and troubleshoot lab prototypes, and drive design improvements.
  • Collaborate with hardware, electronics, manufacturing, and systems engineering teams.
  • Create CAD models and production drawings using SolidWorks.
  • Travel to manufacturing sites and suppliers to support production and validation.

דרישות

  • B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years of experience designing multidisciplinary products.
  • 2+ years of professional experience designing for plastic injection molding, including Moldflow analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks.
  • Experience designing mechanisms and knowledge of plastic injection molding, CNC machining, and sheet metal design, including DFM/DFA.
  • Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping and prototype development; willingness to work in the lab and on the production floor.

  • Experience with surface modeling in SolidWorks.
  • Experience in the defense, robotics, aerospace, or automotive industries.
