Analyze and reverse engineer malware and tooling used by advanced threat actors, especially those targeting governments and critical infrastructure. Your research will support threat attribution, detection, and the development of AI-driven cyber research capabilities.

  • Perform static and dynamic analysis of malware, implants, loaders, and related tooling.
  • Reverse engineer binaries and scripts to identify capabilities, execution flow, persistence, and evasion techniques.
  • Extract and document configuration data and C2 information, and map these to campaigns, infrastructure, and threat actors.
  • Develop and maintain YARA rules, VT LiveHunt queries, CAPA rules, and sandbox behavior signatures.
  • Collaborate with CyberAI researchers on AI-driven analysis capabilities.

דרישות

  • 7+ years of cybersecurity experience, including hands-on malware research focused on APTs and state-linked actors.
  • Proficiency with reverse-engineering tools such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, x64dbg, and WinDbg.
  • Deep understanding of Windows, Linux, Android, and Mac internals, persistence and execution techniques, and modern offensive tradecraft.
  • Experience extracting configurations, C2 endpoints, and capabilities from compiled and scripted malware.
  • Strong investigative mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work with incomplete or obfuscated data.
