Senior Software Engineer - Prism - Security

The Prism team builds systems that turn Elastic Security data into a reliable picture of users, hosts, and services, including entity storage, risk scoring, and resolution. You will lead technical work and build scalable, reliable features used by security teams.

  • Own small-to-medium projects from technical design through production, including data modeling, background tasks, and APIs.
  • Profile and optimize queries, address timeouts, and design for different customer topologies.
  • Write TypeScript and React code, with Node.js services and APIs where needed.
  • Build telemetry, tests, and safeguards for predictable production behavior.
  • Review code, support teammates, and improve team practices.
  • Partner with teams across Elastic Security, Kibana, Elasticsearch/ES|QL, and Support.

דרישות

  • Several years of experience building and maintaining production software.
  • Deep TypeScript and JavaScript skills, especially with React and Node.js.
  • Experience leading projects from conception to deployment.
  • A track record of using AI to accelerate development, debug complex systems, and optimize code while owning the outcomes.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams, work autonomously, and communicate asynchronously in a distributed team.

  • Experience with Kibana, Elasticsearch, or Elastic Security.
  • Experience with SIEM/UEBA.
  • Knowledge of performance profiling and optimization techniques.
  • Experience building AI-assisted or agent-guided workflows with human controls.
