DriveNets is seeking a senior system engineer to define end-to-end architecture for networking platforms and align hardware with software. You will set system requirements, guide integration and validation, and work with engineering teams and stakeholders.

  • Define end-to-end system architecture across routing, switching, timing, and synchronization platforms.
  • Create and maintain system specifications and engineering requirements documents.
  • Evaluate platform-level trade-offs and coordinate hardware and software integration.
  • Lead system design reviews and advise on system behavior and platform compatibility.
  • Document platform requirements, interfaces, test coverage, thermal requirements, and power budgets.
  • Analyze cooling methods and power distribution requirements.

דרישות

  • 15+ years of experience in the networking or telecom industry across system engineering, hardware-software co-design, platform architecture, and test strategy.
  • Track record of delivering carrier-grade networking systems or data-center-scale platforms.
  • Expertise in Ethernet switching, IP routing, timing and synchronization, high-speed interconnects, and network processor architectures.
  • Background in thermal, power, EMI, ESD, and EMC requirements for telecom hardware.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards and regulatory certifications such as NEBS, RoHS, and CE.

  • Define system-level test plans, platform qualification strategies, and test automation coverage.
  • Review test reports and participate in platform bring-up and hardware/software root-cause analysis.
  • Knowledge of SI/PI, HSIO, and LSIO interfaces.
