The SOC Operator monitors the health and performance of VAST Data clusters and responds to alerts and incidents. The role includes investigating issues, coordinating escalations, documenting events, and providing 24/7 coverage.

  • Monitor clusters using internal tools and investigate alerts.
  • Respond to incidents according to procedures and escalation processes.
  • Document incident details, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
  • Coordinate with Support, R&D, account teams, and customers during incidents.
  • Work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to provide 24/7 coverage.
  • Conduct routine checks and help improve SOC processes and procedures.

דרישות

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, SNMP, DHCP, and DNS.
  • Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

יתרון

  • A degree or certification in information technology or a related field.
  • Experience as a SOC Operator or in a similar network monitoring role.
