AI Architect, Agentic platform

You will own the end-to-end architecture of Kaltura’s agentic platform, connecting speech, avatar generation, and agentic reasoning in production systems. You will set technical direction and work with research, platform, FDE, product, and other teams on latency, cost, reliability, and privacy.

  • Own architecture across real-time conversational and offline video paths, including interfaces between speech, avatar, and agentic layers.
  • Set platform direction for speech pipelines, orchestration, transport, model routing, and build-versus-adopt decisions.
  • Define the target architecture for integrating new capabilities, whether built, adopted, or acquired.
  • Own latency budgets, cost-per-outcome models, and system behavior when components stall or fail.
  • Design long-term memory architecture and privacy controls for consent, retention, erasure, and residency.
  • Define cross-platform interfaces, engineering standards, and governance for evaluating, promoting, versioning, and retiring capabilities.

דרישות

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science or an equivalent technical field; mandatory.
  • 12+ years of industry experience, including 5+ years as a principal, staff, or lead architect owning production platform system design.
  • Track record architecting distributed, multi-tenant production systems at scale, with accountability for latency, cost, and reliability.
  • Strong cloud experience and hands-on experience with agentic systems and LLMs, including orchestration, tool calling, interoperability standards such as MCP, and retrieval.
  • Real-time systems experience, strong Python skills, and hands-on experience with AI evaluation, tracing, and observability.

  • Experience with speech technologies such as ASR, TTS, or speech-to-speech, including streaming architectures.
  • Experience with generative video, avatar generation, diffusion, or flow-matching models.
  • Experience with real-time media frameworks, enterprise governance and compliance, or multilingual systems.
  • M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
