Lead a team responsible for maintaining, evolving, and scaling backend systems that support real-time and on-demand video experiences. Set technical direction and guide delivery while contributing hands-on to development and production operations.

  • Make architectural and technology decisions across the backend ecosystem.
  • Own the team's technical roadmap and execution.
  • Contribute to development, code reviews, technical design, and resolution of complex production issues.
  • Work with Product, Architecture, DevOps, and QA to deliver technical solutions.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop backend engineers.

דרישות

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 4 years in engineering management or team leadership.
  • Experience leading development and operation of large-scale distributed applications in production.
  • Backend development experience with at least one of TypeScript, PHP, Python, Java, or C++; experience with cloud platforms and modern CI/CD practices and tools.
  • Understanding of distributed systems, scalability, performance optimization, application security, caching, and database technologies.
  • B.Sc. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience with WebRTC, real-time communication, live streaming, or media delivery platforms.
  • Experience with data platforms, event-driven architectures, analytics systems, or data-intensive applications.
  • Experience with React and modern frontend technologies.
