CommIT is looking for a Senior Automation QA Engineer to own test automation for mission-critical systems built for a leading financial institution. You will develop test frameworks, suites, and CI/CD pipelines across a layered banking architecture, helping maintain quality in a secure, regulated environment.

מה תעשו

  • Design and maintain automated test frameworks and suites across UI, API, and service/integration layers.
  • Automate end-to-end UI tests and API/contract tests across the client, middleware, and core integrations.
  • Build and optimize CI/CD test pipelines and embed quality gates into the build and release process.
  • Define test strategy, plans, and coverage, and partner with developers on test placement.
  • Validate asynchronous flows and data integrity across services and databases.
  • Triage failures, perform root-cause analysis, track defects, and report on quality metrics and release readiness.

דרישות

  • 5+ years in QA, with a strong focus on test automation.
  • Hands-on experience with UI and API automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency writing test code in JavaScript/TypeScript and/or C#.
  • Experience testing across a Client → BFF → Middleware → Core architecture.
  • Experience with asynchronous messaging, CI/CD pipelines, REST APIs, and SQL.
  • Experience in a bank or comparable regulated enterprise SDLC; clear written and spoken English.

יתרון

  • QA experience with core banking, payments, or other financial systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Cursor or Claude Code.
  • Performance or security testing; BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlow.
  • AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, or familiarity with the Israeli banking landscape and Hebrew.
