Build and evolve the backend of Cloudinary’s large-scale visual moderation platform, handling images, videos, and AI-driven moderation workflows. Own technical decisions and delivery across the development lifecycle, with a focus on customer impact, reliability, and system quality.

  • 10+ years of experience owning and delivering production backend systems.
  • Strong hands-on coding skills and confidence working deep in the backend stack.
  • Experience building and operating cloud-based systems.
  • Hands-on experience with distributed systems, asynchronous processing, queues, workflows, and production monitoring.
  • Clear communication, ownership, and effective collaboration across teams.
