Design, build, and operate high-scale, low-latency backend services that protect web and API traffic from automated abuse. Work on HUMAN’s real-time detection platform, collaborating with security, data science, and product teams.

  • Design, build, and maintain distributed backend services handling high request volumes with strict latency targets.
  • Own services from architecture and implementation through deployment, monitoring, alerting, tracing, and reliability.
  • Implement and evolve real-time detection and decisioning flows for the Sightline Cyberfraud Defense platform.
  • Build and operate services in Kubernetes using the listed cloud-native tools and support safe rollouts and migrations.
  • Partner with security researchers, data science, product, and adjacent teams to design end-to-end flows.
  • Contribute to technical design and code reviews.

דרישות

  • 5+ years of experience building backend services and understanding modern distributed systems design.
  • High proficiency in at least one backend language such as Go, Java, or Scala, including concurrency and multithreading.
  • Experience building and operating production systems in GCP or a similar cloud provider, including containerized workloads and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with datastores and messaging systems such as MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, or Postgres.
  • Understanding of networking, HTTP-based services, secure and reliable APIs, and production monitoring and troubleshooting.

  • Experience in security, fraud detection, or risk scoring, especially in high-volume web or API environments.
  • Hands-on Go production experience, including performance tuning, profiling, and optimizing latency-sensitive services.
