Build and own the backend systems for Via’s customer-facing Voice AI agent, creating responsive conversational experiences for public transportation riders. You’ll develop production systems, explore and integrate LLMs, and help shape the product and the team’s technical direction.

  • Lead end-to-end development of Via’s customer-facing Voice AI agent.
  • Architect and ship features across the stack, with a focus on scalable backend services for real-time AI interactions.
  • Evaluate, integrate, and deploy LLMs and AI providers.
  • Propose product initiatives, tools, and ways to improve the AI agent.
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to technical direction, architectural discussions, and code reviews.

דרישות

  • 5+ years of professional full-stack experience.
  • Strong backend engineering foundation and experience shipping production-grade systems.
  • Experience operating with ownership and collaborating with a team.
